To be fair Trump is one of the least conservative people running. The only conservative policy he talks about is illegal immigration. And he's a a shitty businessman and self proclaimed genius with a high IQ, think I'll pass on that moron. If he wins the presidency it will destroy the Republican Party probably forever. Although i have said this before and I'll say it again, as much as it pains me I will be completely flabbergasted if we ever manage to elect another republican president in the next 15 years. They've done too much damage to themselves with their social platforms and that's the only thing most people care about or are capable of understanding.

Donald Trump is not worth $10 billion. Donald Trump says he is worth $10 billion. Forbes gives him a generous estimate at $4 billion, others a bit lower. There have always been discrepancies with what others say and what Trump says he's worth, it's been like that for decades.

He is a very successful businessman who is worth an insane amount - far more than any of us probably ever will be, but he attributes a lot of his wealth to his "brand name" which he values himself.

No, that's like, oversimplification. He may have made a lot on The Apprentice, but not billions. You don't build a preeminent commercial real estate business, let alone graduate Wharton by luck.

I know what this sounds like, I'm not backing Trump as a politician. I'm backing him saying he is not a "shitty businessman."

I agree. The reality shows were maybe worth a few hundred million in actual cash and promoting his brand like clothing, hotels, casinos, golf courses, etc and. It was a smart choice as it placed him back as a household name like he was in the 80's and early 90's and showed his charitable side.

He didn't make billions on a reality show. Maybe a few million, but it was about feeding his ego and continuing his brand.
The Trump brand was well know before, but he was able to use the show to promote himself and his new ventures like clothing and perfume from himself, his wife and kids etc. It also helped us to know his sons because before the show Ivanka was the only child everyone was familiar with. Even still that wasn't worth billions maybe a few hundred million.
