why can't people of different ethnicities worship anything they believe in? if non-jewish people can convert to judaism, shouldn't anyone be able to worship any deity? usually i would agree that white ppl shouldn't appropriate poc tradition and culture, but spirituality is an entirely different thing. if you feel that diety is real, shouldn't you worship them? i'm totally not arguing btw!! i'm curious as to why it's a bad idea.

“The real exploration of Egypt came with the French invasion under Napoleon. Along with his army, he bought along a number of scholars, who conducted surveys throughout Egypt. These men were not only Egypt’s earliest modern explorers, but were probably more interested in documenting their findings then the next generation of explorers and adventurers, who seem to have put their greatest efforts into the collection, and sell, of Egyptian antiquities. It was these predecessors of modern Egyptology that stripped many of Egypt’s fine antiquities, carrying them off to European as well as American Museums.”

I don’t think egyptian gods are too fond of white people
