In my university we have to take one cultural studies class as a prerequisite to get into any major.

In my class we were reading about native Americans and the trail of tears. One girl seemed pretty upset and raised her hand.

She told the professor that this was unfair biased text and only covered "one side of the story"

She also said that we shouldn't be victimizing native American because they "basically just gave us their land".

There was an awkward silence. I think the professor was lost for words, most of the class tried to hide their laughter.

Then she said "this is why I hate these types of classes, it's liberal propaganda" and walked out of the class.

I hope she comes back next class so I can thank her for her service.
