Humm, I have to say, outside of Hillary, the Democratic Party looks pretty weak right now. Webb and Chafee looked terrible. Hillary looked the most presidential, and she had some really good moments. I'm still pretty cynical about her flip on the TPP though, I mean she needs to give a specific about why she changed her mind, something that is different now than when she was SoS. I'm still neutral, leaning pro on the TPP though, seems like most economists think it's a good thing

Bernie was cranky, but seems more in it to push issues rather than win. He looked lost when he was asked about Putin. He did well though. He was the only one that wasn't in fantasyland when talking about guns. Don't get me wrong, I'd prefer U.K style gun laws here, but O'Malley and Clinton are off their rocker if they think they can push what they were proposing through this congress.

The republicans pounced, and will continue to pounce on anyone who says black lives matter over all lives matter. I'm curious how that will turn out-will it be something they can twist Atwater style to scare old white people and pick up a lot of votes? Anyway I agree with Bernie about social programs more, and I do think he's more sincere in his leftism, but Clinton, despite being too hawkish, will probably be better on foreign policy, and more effective overall. Plus he seems too old to do the job for 4 to 8 years. It might be better for Clinton to grab him as VP honestly, even though everyone seems to think it will go to O'Malley.

Overall I was underwhelmed. I wish Warren were running, but what I saw was a world better than trump and Ben "Abbas, Putin, and Khomeini went to school and became friends" Carson.
