Fingers crossed she'll pull through.

That's a hell of a pub story if she does, as well. "I survived Ebola. TWICE."

Ms Cafferkey had initially gone to an out-of-hours doctor in Glasgow on Monday of last week, but was sent home after being told she probably had a virus.

Did she not tell them she had previously been treated for Ebola? If she did, did they not consider this pretty important and act upon it with caution?

I have a reasonably difficult to manage medical condition, and I get the mobile number of a doctor on call. If my temperature goes above 38 degrees I'm supposed to call it out of hours, or call the day unit I'm treated at if it's not. I'd have though there were more stringent procedures in place for someone who had recently been treated for Ebola.

To be Fair, Ebola is a virus

I'm surprised her GP was not informed when she returned home the first time.

Hence the criticisms from the family

God bless her. I hope she pulls through. Brave, brave woman.

Wasn't she critically ill the first time as well? Hopefully she pulls through

Yeah, she was. Her health improved quite quickly after that, though.

I'm not sure of the criteria for 'critically ill', come to think of it.

Can you be slightly unwell with ebola?
