This is a genuine question from a confused feminist: how is it right to say that 'not all men' is garbage but it's okay when we say 'not all feminists' or 'not all women' or 'not all POC' etc etc?
Because men are a privileged group who already get the benefit of the doubt and aren’t usually subject to negative metonymy, whereas those other groups are. Feminism 101 is cultural context, budbud.
