Lol, I read the whole thing, had to....those people are so misinformed, I guess that's what we're dealing with. Upwork could do Bitcoin deposits and withdrwals risk free; it would be great withdrawal option for freelancers.

This is strange. I may have the history wrong, but I bought half a motorcycle (may have been the first motorcycle Bitcoin purchase) for Bitcoins... back in 2011.... June? The guy I bought it from, if I'm not mistaken, eventually worked at ODesk which this is now.

There is a reason why Fiverr has been growing faster than Upwork. And the reason is that Upwork sucks compared to Fiverr in the ease of use, UI and UX. I once tried Upwork and it sucked. I tried Fiverr when they decided to accept Bitcoin and in comparison it was a lot better. And I am not saying that because of they accepting Bitcoin. I just didn't knew the site before beyond reading about it at some New Startup List.

Does anyone know any other freelance type sites similar that allow payment and getting paid in Bitcoin?

I realize that Fiverr accepts Bitcoin but I don't believe the freelancers can get paid in it.
