Russia's initiative has made me doubt my own governments resolve on the problem. Idealistically the Russians are our enemy? But I hope any form of god is watching their soldiers.

There's no good reason to think that. The Russians try to resist the more extreme stupidities from the US but don't we all. Certainly the Russian's actions seem more in line with supporting stability.. Assad might not be ideal but better the devil you know than another failed state. The US approach is just repeating the same stupidities and adding fuel to the fire.

But I hope any form of god is watching their soldiers.

That just makes no sense. If there's a God and again there is no reason to think that, then they would be watching over all sides and wondering wtf. If God's existence does not affect a problem, then they are irrelevant to it.

I know your trying to be sympathetic but playing into the fallacies does no good. War is as bad as any religion. It's important to acknowledge that war is hell - and not just another option in the way that the US likes to maintain. Wishing and hoping for good outcomes, is not good enough.. you might as well pray!.. better to be intolerant, push back and object to it where you can. People don't get anger enough at what is done in their name on the back of their taxes for which they will suffer the consequences of - why Governments don't understand what makes trouble, I don't know.

I know too little and the propaganda is strong. Certainly he seems to be a strong leader but so was Saddam and we see that perhaps he was the strong leader that answered to the environment that needed that. People widely tend to peace and sometimes the leader they tolerate is tolerated for reason.. not ideal single reasons but a complex balance.. in wades the US then, "knowing" what they wants is right and all hell breaks loose.

From more balanced comments Assad regime perpetrates bad actions but that could be a sign of alsorts rather than just the man at the top.

The lesson not learned, is that there is a time for change and that is when you have a clean transition option.. when there is none, you need to work on building robust alt first. Syria looks to be a true mess and hence the exodus. Compounded with the regional instability, it looks like Russia has the right impression - that if Syria falls, there could be a much bigger chaos in the region. The US then should expect to get its anti-regime=terrorist camps stamped on, along with IS.. potentially the US funded troublemakers are worse for Assad than IS.. but I don't know detail on that.

Holy fuck! I wish this could be stickied at the top of every subreddit that deals with either news, information, politics, marketing, military, social media, etc. My God... that's almost sickening to look at!

It's so blatantly and unashamedly obvious that with this type of media control we are in affect being blinded by them, and you can't talk or fight back because it's either anti-semite/biogtry/politically-correct. And like I see in some media print, if you're outed as being anti-establishment/anti-Zionist then they'll go after you like there's no tomorrow.

The only way to fuck up these zionist scum is to stop buying their newspapers, and encourage others to do so. Also boycott there products like coke and Macdonald (not sure if a zionist owns Macdonalds). People need to be consistent in their boycotting. It hits them where it hurts them the most, with no money these scum are nothing.
