All posts should be related to Scotland.
Do not editorialise titles, except to provide clarity. This includes changing headlines for link posts and creating a self post that links to an article. Self posts exist for the purposes of discussion not editorialising. Please express your personal opinion or highlight quotes from the content in the comments, not the headline.
One post per story, please. We don't need 5 side discussions on the same topic. Please add links to similar articles in the comments of an existing post. If you're not sure if your article contains new information, please search for earlier posts (or look over posts from the previous few days).
Don't be a cunt. It's fine to disagree, but do it civilly, direct insults / ad hominems are shite and discouraged.
Use NP links when referencing Reddit posts and comments. NP or "No Participation" is a way to help enforce reddit's rules and etiquette on voting. It is against site-wide rules to engage in vote manipulation or brigading. Click here for more information.
Tourism related queries should be made in the stickied thread. Separate posts will be removed.
Link to the source article where available. For example, don't link to a tweet linking the article, or to another reddit post discussing the article. Links to supplementary content should, instead, be posted in the comments.
