The problem there is you're stepping into murky waters. Now a black person who sees you has to wonder why you decided to do that. Is it a joke because he's a black golfer etc.. Honestly I doubt any black person would call you out or get mad but I wouldn't blame them if they felt uncomfortable and thus not really sure if they should approach you. Sure you may just be paying homage to your favorite golfer but the huge difference is that this guy is showing off his skills as a makeup artist, also not going outside, while others may see you with a dark face as a sort of prop. They may think you are using tiger woods as a more acceptable way to wear blackface. You can argue that it's their fault for thinking that way but the fact remains that they can't really be 100% sure without knowing more about your character. Which is impossible to do at a glance across the room. If this guy did his face as snoop dogg, regardless of how good it was, and went around as a caricature of rappers it would be racist. These issues aren't black and white. No pun intended.
