It doesn't suck, it's just very diverse compared to some other subs. If you take away all the things that you think suck about it, it's actually the best sub on reddit.

You can't judge the whole subreddit in one judgement either - every thread is like its own subreddit, with its own culture and laws and history!

The rest of Reddit is pretty much all exactly the same, but here in /r/ShitAmericansSay wandering into a new thread is like wandering into a whole new website.
