The funniest thing about this nonsense is they're trying to make a point but they're using a very bad argument to do so.

They're basically saying "you'd never see a man dressed like this in a game. Look how ridiculous it looks"

But the reason that outfit looks ridiculous is not for the reasons they're thinking. It's not because of how naked he is.

You COULD do a nearly equally naked outfit that actually works for him.

It's all about the design and context.

For example; Conan the Barbarian. His outfit is way more naked than that one but no one complains, It's because it looks cool to show off how buff he is and how godlike his physique is.

Now this character is more modern so he'd need something more like board shorts or vale tudo shorts and it would be as equally exposing for him, look badass, and no one would complain.
