White people or any other race for that matter calling out others for wearing Día de los Muertos costumes or make up. I can’t speak for the entirety of one race. But growing up Hispanic my grandpa and mother always told me it doesn’t matter who dresses up and celebrates this day. It’s a time were the souls are celebrated. They loved seeing when other races of people were celebrating their culture. It made them feel good about how others were coming together and having a good time. They were never once offended. I am not offended when i see someone dressing up in the sugar skull make up. It makes me proud of my culture. So people don’t go screaming culture appropriation or racism to a bunch of people, because as long as the people are respectful it’s okay.
