2008(平成20)年1月、小樽多喜二祭実行委員会委員長より、商大の前身，小樽高商の卒業生である小林多喜二の個人蔵書93点（和書90冊、和雑誌3種）、家族の蔵書100点（和書79冊、和雑誌21種）、その他11点（写真アルバム他）について本学図書館への寄託を受けたことに伴い、「小林多喜二蔵書寄託図書」を形成した。

and this collection was deposited by Otaru Takiji Festival Executive Committee.
