Like I said earlier in a post I'm new to this sub and beginning to "wake up" but I also wanted to post and ask all of you what was your defining moment where you began to "wake up"?
Me personally, being American I had always taken solace in the quote "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass." ......yes I know it is an unconfirmed quote before you come at me for that.....but I do always believe that whoever said it or whoever made it up indeed did hit the nail on the head. Yet with this presidential regime as I like to call it and it's every single attempt to take guns from its citizens I began to feel that this isn't right and that there is something MUCH larger at play here. After all Americans may fight among themselves and kill each on a day to day basis, but yea we have guns and not just our military. Most of our citizens do too and if another country saw it fit to come to our shores and fight us on our own turf, yea they might win but they will have to fight like hell to do it. Back to my main point - most of us have guns and that's what keep the enemy at bay in a sense BUT when you have the leader of a country trying to actively TAKE that aspect are you really doing it for the betterment of the poeple? Or are you working at something much larger and trying to establish you caliphate here?
Sidenote: I also think Obama is the head of ISIS
Thanks for your time.
