This isn't a conspiracy, but this is the only place that seems appropriate.
So, I remember when I was younger, house flies were a bitch to kill. They were very fast and very observant. Killing one with your bare hands took effort. Recently I've noticed the house flies are slower and more careless than they used to be. Their reaction times are terrible, and I can easily smash them or slap them out of the air. I know it's not because I'm faster, because I'm much more slow and out of shape than I was back then.
What I'm getting at, is that I think the flies are slower because they're living off of the same garbage that we call "food." I know the horrible slop they pass off as food in America has taken its toll on me. Since flies reproduce so quickly, the results of living off of that should manifest themselves much quicker than it would in humans. Has anybody else noticed anything similar, or am I grasping at straws here?
