Because fall is awesome!

It's good for beauty subs especially because you can demonstrate style pretty easily (layering is possible but you won't be covering stuff with heavy coats or winter boots), you don't have to worry about sweating makeup off or flaking it all off, it's associated with currently-trendy colors like deep plums and reds and golds, it's generally not super humid so your hair does what you want it to do, you can accessorize without wanting to suffocate but you can wear silk without freezing to death, etc

Also the aesthetic: red-gold leaves, not-quite barren trees, rich warm colors, hot drinks when you've just come inside from a brisk walk and you're chilly but not freezing to death etc.

Also in the Northeast US it's one of the few times in the year where it's not unbearable to be outside for extended periods of time.

different styles trend for different seasons. Some people like summer more because they like having the gold, glowing skin and summer dress look. Some people like spring because that's when pastels and florals make a comeback. Some people like fall because that's when burgundies and plums make a comeback.

because honestly, no, you can't buy those colours/trends year round haha. I go to the mall in April and it's pastel central, bright colours everywhere and I probably couldn't find something in navy or burgundy if I wanted to. Just like in the winter I'm gonna be hard pressed to find floral designs and pastels in stores.

the same follows for makeup lol if it's fall and darker colours are trending, darker makeup looks follow. that's why people like fall, because they like the aesthetic.

Honestly, for better or worse, a lot of reddit users are from the U.S. In the vast majority of the states, fall is an awesome time of year with many fun traditions, pleasant weather, and good food, so naturally users that are from that area talk about it.

I'm sure there are some really nice things about your country as well, and that you would also be enthusiastic about them. If I were to go into a forum mostly populated by people from your country and say people were being juvenile for excited about these things because I've never personally experienced them I'd come off a bit... dickish.

I completely get your initial stance if you legitimately did not understand what's so special about fall, but people here have explained to you the reasons why, and your attitude still seems to be "Well, fall where I am sucks so you're all still stupid and juvenile for liking it." It's an odd attitude you're coming off as having, like you don't actually want to know reasons, you just want to let people know you think they're stupid for making a fuss out of something you don't personally get.

Hot chocolate does not have the same effect on me in 107 degree weather as it does in 20 degree weather. I'm not eating a hot ass, heavy stew while the back of my knees sweat. I get super excited when the heat goes away. I also feel a lot of nostalgia this time of year brought on by scents (it's the sense most strongly tied to memory). There's a lot of clothes I love but don't tolerate in the heat. I can also wear more dramatic makeup because I don't have to worry about it melting all over my face. Knit hats are finally in play.

I don't use the same spices on everything, so when I buy seasonal produce it tastes different. I don't like cinnamon on strawberries but I love it on pumpkin. Sorry I should censor that for you. P*****n.

The majority of my cinnamon/nutmeg/pie consumption happens during American fall/winter holiday months with families. I don't eat pies all the time all year round. Poor choice on my part but baking when it's over 100 degrees sucks.

You're gonna have to filter that shit. Just like you won't deem anyones reason for liking fall as valid, us basic bitches wont stop sharing and enjoying the things that make us happy.
