Beating up on that strawman sure seems like fun. Do you think the fucking library is obligated to keep counsellors on staff? I mean, God forbid a place for checking out books should make it easier for someone to look up self-help books on uncomfortable topics. I'm sure kids were just queueing up to ask the librarian how to find the answers to their most personal problems before this.

Believe it or not, sometimes a library is just a fucking library, not some kind of surrogate replacement for mental help. And it's not supposed to be, either.
