DAE THINK THAT BUYING PRODUCTS MADE IN SWEATSHOPS IS THE MORALLY CORRECT CHOICE

Facts are facts. The sad fact is that They don't have the luxuries of first world countries. For far more complicated reasons than can be expressed in any forum, but it is what it is.

My favorite example of this is the debate from the first world countries looking at banning child labor in 3rd world countries. Like the US NEVER had anyone under the age of 18 work in a factory...

Yeah, and then we stopped because we decided as a culture it was shitty.

Yes but my point is that child labor is relative. Do you think banning a 15year old in Columbia from working because we in the US have decided that 18yrs old is the adult age?

Other societies do not have the same belief system for age, and do you think not letting a 15yr work legally will not encourage illegal activity if they need the money?

Shitty is relative

Relative to "not shitty"

Shitty life in America is pretty luxurious in other countries.

Okay, yes? So we should strive to not make it worse for others.

Right. Boycotting sweat shops harms people of other countries.

Yes keep justifying horrible things to yourself. There are alternatives besides "buy from sweatshops" and "don't buy from sweatshops" but in general don't buy from sweatshops.
