The guys in this video are the "good" examples. I think the people who do best are divers, or failing that snowboarders or other people who are used to moving their body mid-air. I went off this 5 times before I could no longer take the pain of landing on my chest/side/back every time. But there were a lot of people who seemed somehow capable of landing in a sane position every time.

Part of the reason the girl in the video is looking ahead like that the whole time is they tell you to look at the trees on the horizon as you go off. Supposedly this makes you land on your feet, but in my experience I think it just makes you look funnier when you try helplessly to get your feet under you with no angular momentum.
