Screenshots of black people being hilarious on social media, it doesn't need to just be twitter but obviously that is best.
Black culture has a unique way of examining the everyday and we are here to showcase that. You know this shit is funny so don't be a cunt and accuse people here of being racists. The people whose posts are featured here are the comedians, not the jokes.
Cut the black father shit, too. C'mon now.
RULES
Do not post content just because a black person posted it. This sub is intended for exceptionally hilarious social media posts made by black people, not just any social media post made by black people.
No bullying or witch-hunting. This includes comments disparaging people whose tweets and posts are featured here. Doxxing or sharing personal information will result in a permanent ban.
No racism. No hate speech. No black fathers posts. This purpose of this sub is to appreciate black humor on social media, not to hate on black people. If you aren't black, consider whether the humor in a post or comment comes from laughing with or laughing at black people, and you should be able to discern if it's appropriate for this sub or not. The n-word with a hard "r" will be banned on sight.
Typical reddit cliches such as lyric chains, pun chains, white-knighting, and low-effort joke comments will be removed.
Reposts are highly discouraged, and if discovered will be removed. Please search or look through BPT's older posts to see if your content has already been posted. KarmaDecay is not a reliable tool to check for reposts.
No image macros, text conversations, or YouTube links. This includes image macros and text conversations people post on Twitter. Just because somebody tweeted an image macro or a text conversation doesn't mean it is exempt from this rule. Direct Messages on Twitter also fall under this rule.
Posts must be showcasing somebody being hilarious on social media. Don't post something here just because you think it's a similar kind of humor.
Do not add "bruh" or "fam" or similar vernacular to your post or comment just to sound black. It makes you look like a try-hard.
Pictures only. Vines and such belong here.
Don't put the punchline in the title of the post. What makes most of the posts in this sub funny is the punchline, putting it in the title spoils the joke.
Don't ask for the definition of a term you don't understand if it can readily be found on urban dictionary. If you can't be bothered to take 5 seconds to google 'smh', a comment about it will result in a temporary ban.
If you try to be an edgelord (calling someone an SRS shill for pointing out blatant racism, saying something deliberately offensive that we don't think is funny, etc.) you will be banned at the mods' discretion.
Comments beginning with "As a white person" will be mercilessly downvoted and mocked.
Hateful people from hateful subreddits are not welcome here. No crossposting from /r/fatpeoplehate (we did it reddit!!) or /r/imgoingtohellforthis.
The moderators of this subreddit will take any action (which includes banning and removing comments) that they feel improves the quality of the subreddit.
