it should say ONE germans opinion,because i'm sure most germans realize its just a game not reality.if you miss out on a great game because of foolishnes its your loss.

A german is one german lol Anyway, it's just a game but I feel 'wrong' beating up on Germans whilst the Americans are soooo tough and great, if you cannot understand that then you have a very narrow little mind.

If it's only a game, anyway, why don't they make it the other way around, like Germans beating the crap out of the useless Amis who can not fight a battle on their own ever but have to appeal to all of Europe to help.

Every side believes that their side is the innocent side. It's just a game though and fictional one at that so no need to look too deeply into it. It's not the end of the world... Yet.

I love how everyone hates the US but you love all the stuff we've invented and created for the world to use.

In Wolfenstein: The New Order story the Americans as you say were not all tough and great. They lost the war and surrendered. Plus there was a Brit, African and many more of many nationalities helping BJ in the Rebel effort. The Allies included more then just America.

Regarding your comment gigi, all the collectible items have a lore that expands and richens the world of this video game. Provided in the newspaper clippings and recordings are much different viewpoints and accounts about the war and people from all over the globe. Especially accounts from Germans that detest anyone within the Nazi ranks.

OP is entitled to feel that way I guess... I get your point that the only way Germans are portrayed in this game is as Nazis and we dont see regular Germans portrayed outside of the military. But wouldnt most people realize thats because the game is only centered on this ? Im pretty sure they arent trying to pass off the idea that the whole of Germany supported it. As already said, there are different viewpoints in the paper clippings as well.

Would it be better if BJ just referred to them as Germans ? Doesnt that then assocciate all Germans with the actions of Nazis ? Isnt naming them specifically as in the game, better by making a clear distinction ?

Gigi, you must understand the context. The Nazis won the war. They're ruling the world. Most likely everyone who's not a member of the nazi party and behave like one (either willingly or just pretending) are put to death. So nope, there wouldn't be many non-nazis in the Reich. There's no heer, only waffen SS.

This Wolfenstein game is the most fictional one. Not because zombies are more realistic than cyborg dogs but because this game changes history the most. Oh, and FYI: nazis are the most optimal enemy you can have in a video game because it's ok to kill em nazis cause they are pure evil (tm). Would you rather kill normal German soldiers who are simply defending the fatherland?

Like you talk about the game I guess you only played the first chapter with the last stricke against General Strasse's Compund. First it seems like shooting dozens of Nazi's in the Head but after the first chapter the game gets a really good Storyline but you'll see.

So fist of all this its not wrong to label the Nazi's in the game as such, as they really are.
Yes nowadays German haven't got anything to do with the "Nationalsozialismus" but this game has another background.
Here is the Taught "What if the Nazi's won the war ?" and then also people would still be forced to have the same way of thinking because of the propaganda.

So to the "dummys"
This does not show how stupid Soliders of the third Reich were, but has more with gameplay to do, to make it more interessting. You can see that in uncountable Games I'll take Assassin's Creed as an example.

I am Swiss myself and I do not judge the Nazi's as they didn't damage me so please give this game a try and you'll see it gets way better.
