I'd also be interested to know how much power it actually saves compared to the same hash rate in old-fashioned GPU mining, and how much of a $400 laptop's GPU the latter would use.

RPi2 wants 2-5 W, depending on the load, miner chip's rumoured to do 50-125 GHash/s at 0.16 W/(GHash/s), or 8-20 W.

Half a year at best, and then it gets slaughtered by halving. You can google for "bitcoin mining calculator" and play with the numbers.

Since they'll be mining in 21's pool, dust limit and fees surely won't apply - their business model seems to require generating tons of dust.
