I don't see how returning a cracked product is bad. If the price of returns is in the product, I'd totally exchange mine without skipping a beat. I paid however much money for a product, not to be left with a broken product.

If it cracked because of your own actions (like you dropped it) it shouldn't be on the store to replace it. That's what my example meant. If it's a product you like and you cracked it, there are ways to fix it.
