Of all the reasons, "these people could be secret ISIS soldiers" is the most ridiculously moronic ever. I am sorely tempted to piss into the popcorn.

I am also really pissed off at the accusation of "cowardice"; gee, choose between fighting in a brutal dictator's army, or a similarly disorganized, only-slightly-less crazy opposition. Wonder why people are leaving.

So? There are Muslim terrorists who are natural citizens of the country they are attacking. You said it yourself - ISIS is clever. There's no reason to think that they can't get an ethnic, white-as-bread German, or Englishman, to their cause.

That takes time and effort, much easier to just send their own guys en masse, who are already trained and determined.

On the other hand, there's no reason for them to "send their own guys en masse" to Europe right now. It's not like they have a terror attack dateline to adhere to.

So all it takes to deny association with ISIS would be to have someone say "I am not with them"?

Fine then. Make all the refugees say it. Problem solved. Or, you can do it like airport checkin counters: "are you a member of ISIS?".

And that would be a couple hundred of soldiers that could be used to fight an actual war. Logically, it would be better utilized in Iraq rather than Europe.

Or we could just not let them in, Turkey is safe, so is Hungary, so is Macedonia; they don't need to come to Western Europe.
