Unless your 18 or live alone, stop. As a minor, your legal guardian(s) usually end up getting the shit when you get caught. You want to put manufacturing a schedule 1 substance on your mom? Lose the house?

Everyone be advised that OP is a 15 year old. and IMO does not belong is this subreddit. Check his post history new to reddit and shrooms and view comments. You can make your own decisions from that if you feel so inclined to help him.

You probably won't be able to get away with it unless you seriously take advantage of your mom. Are you gonna tell her why you're pressure cooking jars? Maybe take care of your mom since she has MS. Stop making her life harder because she has to worry about her 15 year old son.

edit: you know you're old when you go dad mode on the internet

As the usual reply to something like this goes:

Go to Shroomery.org and read all about PF Tek and BRF Tek until you can't stand it anymore then keep reading about them.

  1. Oysters are really forgiving and easy to grow but not active. As far as actives "a cube is a cube" so you shouldn't have to worry with a strain beyond cubensis for starting out.

  2. I find gourmet cultivation worth it. But if you like to trip I can see the appeal in saving money growing over buying.

  3. 1 in practice (make lid, fill jar, boil/pressure cook jar, inoculate, colonize and fruit) probably about a 7 though. You need to do a lot of research on how to best do things. It's easy to say "drill some holes in a box and add wet perlite" but the science behind air flow for fruiting chambers is intense.

  4. Shroomery and /r/mushroomgrowers have a wealth of information on active and gourmet species.

  5. There's a different best place for every stage, research research research.
