Man you need to check yourself. If you won’t listen to them, please listen to me, because I used to sound a lot like you. First of all, don’t call yourself a feminist if you’re a man (which you are). You can call yourself a feminist ALLY but you are not a feminist, much like an LGBT+ ally is not LGBT+. This gives a completely different mentality, as your voice is not equal to a woman’s on these topics. It also recognizes a predisposition to sexism that exists in you (this is often a result of the patriarchal culture we live in, not necessarily you just thinking “oh women are less than”, but you do have to analyze your own thoughts. What OP seems to be saying is that so fucking many men (the STRONG majority of men) prefer to try and blame women for problems that women suffer from instead of looking inward and fixing themselves first. As an example: you are accusing them of being man-hating and ignorant. Do you actively refuse to watch porn? Do you refuse to look at women in an objectifying way? When you see an attractive girl, do you check your thoughts, as to not sexualize her? Do you work with feminists to shut down mysoginy (obviously not, based off of this post)? Do you actively stick up for women’s rights across the world? Do you empathize with the bullshit women take from this backasswards society? No, you don’t. And your analogy is so fucking backwards. Like holy shit talk about grabbing at straws; there’s no way in which you can logically compare feminists with fucking NAZIS. If anything, in this analogy, feminists would be the Jews, and you and I would be the Aryans, given the history of oppression. victoriassecretpolice was not being “violently sexist against men”, she was pointing out a legitimate problem that exists.
