i did not trash or defend anything. i said he's probably not good enough that him covering another person's album is good enough to make a person pay money for the project.

Well, your opinion on cover album politics has nothing to do with Ryan Adams' cultural relevance. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Taylor Swift or her management were the ones forcing him to sell it so she could reap the royalties.
