I just finished a month long slog through all of last terms Ohio and US Supreme Court cases. My conclusion is that, as usual, all but maybe 5% of the cases can be predicted based on the language used by the party's briefs, but that we are experiencing an interesting turn in the federal court level in terms of the expansive nature of the 14th (used in more than one case).

expect to see expanded classes soon, but not always in the way expected (gun expansion, buisness expansion, disability expansion, orientation and identity expansion, race reduction (or more, AA going down)).
