Given the amount of time you spend making sure no one EVER casts a white person in the role of a PoC character in a Tumblr role-play, I hope you aren't then encouraging people to cast PoC in the roles of canon white characters... it goes both ways, you know.

Literally it just does not work that way. It just doesn’t. Taking away one instance of white representation does zero harm to them.

Also, there aren’t nearly as many “canonically white” characters as you would think–a lot of characters are defaulted white when their race left open to interpretation. A lot of “racebending” people complain about is actually just casting PoC in racially ambiguous (sometimes POC-coded) roles (Hermione Granger, Katniss Everdeen, Harry Potter).
