So, I was looking into the financial transaction tax, and initially I didn't really care that it reduced stock market liquidity. However, I read that it has a large affect on stock market volatility, is this true? Are there any other problems besides that?

So, everybody knows the economy is fucking complex. I knew it back when I was an anarchist, all the communists on reddit know it and every single person who disagrees with the economic consensus without sufficient evidence knows it.

So why the fuck do they feel qualified to talk about it? It's got to be worse for econ than any other science.
