I can still see Christie Whitman, telling everyone that it was safe to work there. The air was fine.

These numbers should scare the shit out of every person in America!

Cancer in the general population of New York must be off the charts sky high by now. The Dust Lady died on Monday. IMHO, this is being unreported with malice and intent.

New York isn't even listed on the government website for tracking environmental cancers.

What's the conspiracy with this story?

[–]LetsHackReality[S] 7ポイント8ポイント  (2子コメント)

Most of them got types of cancer (thyroid, leukemia, prostate) that you get from exposure to radiation -- although the press tries to pass it off as all lung cancer from asbestos.

The conspiracy is that the govt knew all along about the radiation.

And then they concealed it from the WTC recovery workers -- they could have prevented hundreds, if not thousands, of cases of cancer with simple potassium iodide pills -- while they, themselves, wore full haz-mat suits:

At times, the detectives would take shelter in wooden sheds, in an attempt to get away from what Walcott likes to call "all that freaking bad air." One day, he was sitting in the shed with his colleagues, eating candy bars and drinking sodas, when some FBI agents entered. They were dressed in full haz-mat suits, complete with head masks, which they had sealed shut with duct tape to ward off the fumes. As Walcott took in the scene, contrasting the well-protected FBI agents with the New York cops wearing respirator masks, one thought entered his mind: What is wrong with this picture?

Was there ever any radiation testing done that day? Geiger readings? Its pretty suspicious that this many would get cancer from toxic dust itself without some type of radiation in it. Did they analyze the dust for these components?

If there were, that's some info that people would kill to suppress. This is The Big Secret about 9/11. (And that nukes are used very often in false flag bombings.)

Iodine-131 has a half-life of 8.2 days, so I doubt there's any left now.

edit: ...orrrrr maybe there's a bigger secret I don't know yet!

It's more a case of incompetence or recklessness. I don't have the details to hand but the first responders did have concerns about the environment with all the dust and smoke but the lady who was on site for the EPA said it was OK.

Obviously it wasn't. I can't say that she deliberately lied on the day and think it's more likely she didn't have all the data to make a fully informed decision. Nevertheless, a lot of these men and women went in on her say so and have paid the price subsequently.

Edit - it was Christine Whittman

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christine_Todd_Whitman

and wikipedia seems to agree with me...

Whitman appeared twice in New York City after the September 11 attacks to inform New Yorkers that the toxins released by the attacks posed no threat to their health.[28] On September 18, the EPA released a report in which Whitman said, "Given the scope of the tragedy from last week, I am glad to reassure the people of New York and Washington, D.C. that their air is safe to breathe and their water is safe to drink." She also said, "The concentrations are such that they don't pose a health hazard...We're going to make sure everybody is safe."[29] A 2003 report by the EPA inspector general determined that the assurance was misleading, because the EPA "did not have sufficient data and analyses" to justify it.[30]

Exactly. It was incompetence. Not a conspiracy.

Also, all cancers found in 9/11 first responders are presumptive to have been caused by ground zero dust.

Even lifelong smokers and cancers like prostate cancer will be counted in the figure. I am not trying to diminish the horror that these first responders are facing, but pointing out that the numbers may be a little too high.

They knew there was nuclear radiation. The FBI knew -- they wore hazmat suits.

But they couldn't give the workers any protection, because it'd be obvious nukes were used. Keeping that secret was worth giving thousands of WTC workers cancer.

Absolutely disgusting.
