As I mentioned below, I asked because I was curious. You received a valid rebuttal in this very thread from someone else, but I'll indulge you.
Your snapshot is meaningless. Even a snapshot taken every day at a specific time for a month would be meaningless without considering the quality of the drama inside the thread, the submitter, and whether those are properly flaired. Sadly, you'll find the flair utilized by the mods here is almost entirely subjective, and any argument that contains even a brief discussion of sexism or misandry will be flaired gender wars. You can take that up with the mods if you'd like, but I've never actually seen that work.

If you really believe submissions should be banned and that "many dislike" the type of drama posted to SRD, why are those on the front page? Submissions get there because of votes, and it would seem that many quite enjoyed those. Being popular doesn't make it good, but it sort of calls into question your opinion that many users dislike the drama that's submitted to the sub.

Finally, there is a very real reason many submissions to SRD have arguments involving similar subjects, and that is the same reason unusual and rare drama is so entertaining: there are things people typically argue about on the internet more often than they argue about other things. On the plus side, banning racism drama and gender drama would make the mods' jobs a lot easier, if only due to the sharp drop in submissions from regular posters who try to follow the rules. On the other hand, their jobs might be far more difficult as people with definite agendas might choose that period to spam submissions. Eliminating the giant subsections of drama as others on this sub have suggested would render SRD a ghost town. The reason we don't submit fabulous arguments about toast or a flat earth every day is because people don't have those arguments every day. Even on fan subs like /r/startrek, where I would expect the strangest and most esoteric arguments, the most popular slapfights are the same disagreements we see most days on SRD.

I didn't suggest you can't have an opinion on this subject. As I mentioned below I found it curious, since the submission rule changes would, for the most part, only affect you as a reader. This seems paradoxical, since if you or others wanted different stuff on the front page you'd submit it and upvote it.
