Well this would definitely tip the scale in our favor then because there is no context in which women can be respected. They can merit approval when being deferential but how can a man respect an obedient plaything? They can never rise to anything beyond their function, which optimally entails her being a pleasant distraction. Only men can be loved if respect has to factor into the dynamic. Women can be consumed and enjoyed but never respected.
