Here at bad politics, we point out the the misinformed, the liars, and the downright bizarre in politics and laugh at it as well as basic misunderstandings in regards to the field of Political Science. So, in short, this is an rss feed of modern politics.

Bad politics transcends political stances and ideology. There is bad politics in favor of and against every political position and ideology and in favor of and against every political proposal. As such, while individuals who participate may have an ideology or political stance, this sub does not. To reflect this, we take the position that no political stance is, in itself, bad politics. As such, any post that is simply expressing a position or ideology will be removed. To qualify for being posted here, it needs to contain factual inaccuracy. This means misrepresenting the other side, twisting facts, using falsehoods, making bad comparisons, making unsubstantiated claims of fact, and believing debates to be settled when they aren't.

Marxists are mentally ill creationists and cannot be economists. Also, colonialism didn't matter. (self.badpolitics)

There's room for lots of different views in economics, and the field of economics does not benefit from trying to purge itself of alternate ideas.
Let's take a look:
Econ departments are right to have purged out their Marxist faculty because Marxists are like creationists.
The Labour Theory of Value has -- apparently! -- been empirically disproven. Not that it matters because Marxists are delusional and stupid, and reject empirical data. (Plus, we're creationists. )
Oh yeah, and if you think your study of Marxist economics counts as economic training, you need to seek mental health treatment.
Honestly, this kind of outright bias is why economics' star is falling and poli sci's (and sociology's) is rising. Maybe once economists could say rightly that only they used statistics and looked at empirical data. But that's just nowhere near halfway true anymore.
