Here's the difference, if Ted Cruz came to say Berkeley, there would be threats of violence, there would be people blocking the entrances to keep Cruz out, and students would jump onto the stage yelling that Cruz is a hateful homophobe.

At Liberty University, they'll sit quietly as Bernie gets on the stage, talk nonsense for 30 minutes, and then shake their heads about his socialist tripe.

He'll get treated better than many other places, simply because women won't jump up on stage and verbally assault him, the like "black lives matter" morons.

I don't know about that. Rand Paul spoke at Howard University and students were skeptical but polite.

Rand Paul and his father are advocates for ending the Drug War which you could argue is defacto Jim Crow.

I myself lean libertarian ( I'm still a Dem) since once you stop prohibition you magically solve all these problems government is trying to fix.

I'd argue you need a transition, but if both prohibition and welfare ended today , give or take 20 years and everyone would be better off.

Prohibition destroyed many communities and you need to end it( look up LEAP) since it just doesn't work.

Please explain how the criminalization of narcotic is akin to Jim Crow laws. Do African Americans have some kind of penchant for narcotic drug use and dealing that whites don't or something? Why do you hold African Americans to lower standards than whites? I mean, last I checked every American is held to the same standards when it comes to criminal narcotics. And don't use the powder cocaine vs. crack cocaine argument. If some lower class white person uses or deals in crack they used to face the exact same penalties as a person of color involved with crack cocaine until the crack vs. powder differences were changed last year.

And there'd be safe spaces, because hearing different ideas than yours is equivalent to actual violence and rape.
