Bitcoin went from $18 to $2 during five months in 2011. If you're not ready to roll with that sort of drop, you might want to reevaluate your strategy. If you really want to actively trade, either do it in small amounts or find a way to hedge your downside risk.

Also keep in mind. Money can always be earned again. Trading with leverage is stupid. Trading something volatile and unpredictable like cryptos with leverage is even more stupid. Only because someone is able to make a profit without leverage doesn't mean he can do it with leverage scaling up his profit in the process. You're more likely to make dumb decisions, because you can't stand the emotional rollercoaster when all price swings are amplified by leverage. Odds are already against you. If you win 1% of your account and lose 1% of your account the next day you're having a net loss. If you lose 1% of your account first and then make 1% back the next day you still didn't recover your loss, because your 1% win is now smaller. Now do the math with 10% winnings and losses it's not getting better.

This may sound insensitive, but you should never risk more than you are willing to lose. Be honest with yourself before you put the money down.

You post this after a 25% drop? Ether has changed in value more than 100% both ways since inception. Man up and get over it. Jesus. If you can't handle a minor drop you should't be trading currencies that have only existed for a month or so.
