Does anyone know what episode based on the shirt?

edit: according to this it was taken on April 3 1998. It's from a book called Sein Off: The Final Days of Seinfeld. I think they are filming the final episode.

I think this is it.

I think it's from a rehearsal - I just watched through this video and didn't catch it, though it's possible that I missed it or that the video's not comprehensive. The closest I saw was at 5:02.

Also possible that he wore the shirt during the episode, but wore a jacket over it in the recorded entrance. Maybe someone with more free time than me can figure it out.

Sincerely,

A guy who just watched 6 minutes of someone walking through a door over and over.

Your contribution will never be forgotten.

Hahaha the one where he hits the door knob after he opens it then gives the peace sign

So it's not from 1993?

If you trust Getty over OP then no.

Such an under appreciated picture and snapped at the right time

I don't know why but I find this picture kind of beautiful in a nostalgic way

Cool photo. Would make a cool poster

"Kramerica" ... This photo is awesome.

[–]ShyTownNinja_NasFlo 3ポイント4ポイント  (1子コメント)

How many people heard the signature Seinfield sound once they clicked the picture?

Bowww bow bow bow bep-BOWWWWWW...

are people okay with kramer now? Or is he still... socially unacceptable you think?

Saw him on the front page maybe two days ago, I think people like his character more than the person. It's kind of sad though he seems like a decent guy who was just sort of clueless about stand up, plus drugs.

I thought his episode on comedians in cars getting coffee made it a little more forgivable in my eyes. He seemed pretty torn up about it still after like 10+ years. although he is an actor so..

Weird that there is now more time between the Laugh Factory incident and today than there was between the Seinfeld finale and the Laugh Factory incident.

....I refuse to admit that is true. Fuck. I'm old.

I can't disclose much (NDA) but not long ago I spent about a straight month with Michael Richards in my office. Many of us were unsure of what to expect, but I gotta say he's an extremely nice guy. Far moreso than most you meet in Hollywood. He's very appreciative of even the smallest kindnesses.

10/10 would work with him again.

People who are still hung up on that have a stick up their arse

Was he on drugs? I hadn't heard that, but wouldn't be surprised.

And race

You have a point. I recently saw Kevin Hart and especially the (black) intro acts used the N word much more offensively than Michael Richards ever did and no one batted an eye.

Richards used the n-word in a rant against black audience members, suggesting that they should be lynched for disturbing his act.

Please give examples, with context, of how the black intro acts used the n-word in a more offensive manner.

[–]clouds_become_unreal 7ポイント8ポイント  (0子コメント)

if they're black it much less offensive context matters a whole lot in these matters broo

How old are you, what area of the world are you from, how much American history are you familiar with? Your naivete is confounding.

I definitely get your point, but if black people are really so horrified by the word they should try not using every 10 seconds.

Of course he's cool. On an episode of Seinfeld's Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee he talks about how he really, REALLY regrets what happened in that club.

Who gives a shit what other people think of him. Stop following the flock and form you own opinion.

Wait, what did be do?

Revealed himself to be a racist.

Not really, if you watch the video it just seems like a joke that got out of hand, I'd say it's more a matter of poor judgement than racism.

I think extreme frustration led him to reveal some deeply hidden beliefs.

Daddy like

Although he has tarnished his career with his post Seinfeld actions, it can't be understated how much he gave to the role of Kramer. The energy and comedic skill he brought to every episode is something I don't think has been, or ever will be, outmatched.

If there was only some awful hateful word I could call you to make you as upset as I am right now.

Nothing was off limits on curb. I miss that show more than Seinfeld.

Is it actually done? It always seems like Larry says they did the last season and then a couple years later he comes out with a new one.

Garlin recently said Larry is loaded with ideas...

I think.

Look. Okay. But. 1993? Can we not consider 22 years ago, OLD SCHOOL? Please. I'm coming to terms with being over 30.

22 years is enough. I'm pretty sure things that happened in 1971 were considered "old school" in 1993 (by comparison)

I'm 36 and I consider this Old School. It's ok, once you realize the new shit aint worth payin attention to, you'll be cool with getting older :)

The subs rules do say over 25 years old... But Kramer has been doing entrances like that since 1989, which is over 26 years ago. So...

This is gold, Jerry. GOLD!

Interesting to see what Kramer's apartment really was, just a little bit of wall and furniture. We never see the full interior, just odd bits of it.

this is a really wonderful and well done photo in my humble opinion

He was almost the same character in Transylvania 6-5000 (1985)...

how is 1993 old school...

[–]Hojae 0

Easy on the 1993 being old school. You're making me feel old OP.

Jerry Seinfeld dated a 17 year old and got a free pass....I will never understand how he didn't get called out for dating a girl not out of high school.

We all loved this guy! Motherfucking Cosmo Kramer! Then the ignorant bastered had go ruin it... Now I can't separate the actor from the character.

I understand your statement, but a lot of actors and actresses do and say crazy things. I don't think enjoying a character on a show or movie is condoning what they might do outside of it.

The poster was only speaking for himself. He didn't demand that everybody else stop liking Seinfeld too. No need to downvote him for having an opinion.

Where do you draw the line on how "crazy" the action can be and still suspending belief for the sake of enjoying a character/performance?

If i had to guess, /u/nutsreallybignuts does not get caught up in how amazing a fake character is on a scripted television show because the actual human being that plays him, the one that exists in our reality outside of tv screens and studio sets, had a disturbingly racist rant.

Monumental TV history! We have the Kramer hanging in the living room.

Even more historic. It's the last time he walks through that door as Cosmo Kramer.

I guess racist are old school school now. Next Hitler?

Annnnnddddd racist!
