    onotriel asked: So I didn't know whether you'd be able to help me or not but recently I've noticed my bf using words that I'm not exactly comfortable with, words like slut, cunt, and nigger and I don't know whether to talk to him about it and ask him to stop or what?? We've only been dating a few months and honestly I don't know whether it would be better if I just called it quits now?? Do you have any advice?

    Tell him that, unless he is black and a woman those words do not belong to him. They are not his slurs to reclaim. Those words dehumanise and shame people and can only be reclaimed by those affected. If he doesn’t seem to get that at all then I would cut my losses and dump his ass.
