I've literally never seen reds with anything against gays. We've even got a sub for LGBTs. It's not popular but that's hardly our fault. It's not like we know queer sexual strategy to contribute and it's not like we advertise the red pill network in general. Near as I can tell though, the only talk we really have of gays is to say positive things about Milo. We certainly have nothing homophobic in the sidebar.

Blue pill though, isn't like that. They spend a lot of time saying shit like making jokes about how many TRPs must still be in the closet or about how gay we are for admiring alphas and muscles and shit. Other than deap seated homophobia, why would blue pill even think that's an insult?

I haven't seen good evidence that there's a strong gay population on the red pill but it's not like we'd reject gays if we found out that they're there. Even if there were a bunch of them, we'd have more or less the same discourse, maybe with slightly more varied points of view, and continue onward. There'd be nothing shameful or insulting about it. Some dudes like dudes and some dudes who like dudes might also like our philosophy. So what?

So blue pill, why do you think that's an insult, or funny, or whatever? I literally cannot come up with ANY explanation other than that BPs a bunch of homophobes who think it's inherently shameful, ridicule worthy, or mockable to be gay.

Response: Red pill hates RooshV, RooshV made a video disavowing RP, and blue pill knows that by now.

i assume it's just said as a jab (when intended as an insult) to red pillers based on the belief that they would find it offensive (rather than the poster actually thinking homosexuality is a bad thing). even so, not really a fan of it.

We never said we're offended by it. We're also very pro-male and masculinity. Unless blue pill thinks gays aren't realen or aren't masculine, I'm not sure how they'd conclude that we'd be offended.

RPers are also very pro-heterosexuality and 'sleep with as many different women as humanly possible or die' so it makes sense that someone would make a joke attacking that, since so many TRPers hold that dear.

This may be diverting from the original topic but in my experience, I've found oddly enough that feminist and TBP types are more bigoted and racist behind their "hippie world peace love everybody" bullshit facade. It's quite amusing and is another reason why I don't take feminists seriously at all.

Sometimes the field reports and posts come off a little homoerotic. That's not homophobic, it's homophobic if you find that insulting.

I don't find it insulting. I conclude that it's an insult based on context clues and the mission statement of TBP. One's homophobic, the other is basic reading comprehension.

In the debates on "online harassment of women", many feminists argue that insults to women are more likely to involve their gender than insults to men. They use this to conclude that gamers are misognyistic.

A common counterpoint to this is that they're using gender-related insults not because they hate the women's gender, but because they believe that this is the best way to get at them, to troll them, or to get an emotional response from them.

I think a similar point applies here. This isn't to say that no bluepillers are homophobic and no gamers are misogynist, but I think there's a little more to it than that if we're looking at the phenomenon (of orientation-based insults to RPers, and gender-based insults to women on gaming) as a whole.
