how do you even type like that by accident?

Nana Jean likes to tap out fresh beats on caps lock with one hand while typing with the other.

I. Know. Someone. Who. Capitalizes. The. First. Letter. Of. almost Every. Word. And. Adds. A. Period. After. Each. One.

I. Ask. Myself. The. Same. Question.

It. Makes. No. Fucking Sense. And. It's. Really. Fucking. Annoying.

It. Reminds. Me. Of. This. One. Time. When. I. Was. A. Kid. Like. The. Time. I Caught. The. Ferry. Over to. Shelbyville. I Needed a. New. Heel for. My Shoe. So. I Decided to. Go To. Morganville. Which Is. What They. Called Shelbyville. In Those. Days. So I. Tied An Onion. To My. Belt. Which was. The Style. At the. Time. Now. to Take the Ferry. Cost a Nickel. And in. Those Days. Nickels Had. Pictures of. Bumblebees. On Them. Give Me. Five. Bees. For a. Quarter. You'd. Say.

They wrote it on a phone and pressed space twice.

It. Is. Easy. If. You. Try.

I have noticed several folk habitually use 2-3 spaces after the end of a sentence in places like notepad.

To be fair, 2 spaces was considered the norm for a very long time.

I definitely learned to put two spaces after a period...is it not that way anymore?

Not since we went off monospaced fonts.

Yeah. The software my middle school used for our typing class required you to use two spaces, so it became a habit.

Wait is it not anymore?

This. It has taken me a LONG time to only hit the space bar once. Only after years of autocorrect annoying me, did I finally manage to change.

My mom taught me to type with two spaces. When I got home from school one day telling her that they taught us that one space was fine, she, to her credit, said "oh that's great, 2 spaces was stupid as hell."

Your massage seems special. May I get some

I was doing it until about 2 years ago when a coworker told me 2 spaces is no longer the norm.

I've discovered a trend with right-wing nut jobs where they add multiple commas (,,,,). Has anyone else noticed this?

Is there a way of capitalising the first letter of every word without pressing the shift key every time. I assume there must be because if not... I don't even want to think about it.

Edit: WTF? What is this ebola nonsense?

[–]Peoples_Bropublic 6ポイント7ポイント  (1子コメント)

Ebola is a virus (or several viruses) that cause fever, nausea, diarrhea, and bleeding disorders. I'd go to the hospital.

:(

Edit: I've been hacked!

My Galaxy S4 and Galaxy tablet do this occasionally . I can't figure out why, either. No rhyme or reason when they do it.

In Microsoft word you can change capitalization, toggling between all caps, title caps (every word), lowercase, and small caps.

[–]TheRileyss"That will be ok" 4

I'm pauzing after every word in my head and it's hella annoying.

I love how it starts out as one word sentences then gets lazy and goes to two.

Look at the second line. It says almost every word.

It's really funny how this bot repeats the swear words it doesn't like in the same capitalization as the original comments. I wonder if the mods forgot to program it to put it all in lower-case or if they just also think it's funny to leave it this way.

AutoMod uses wildcards like {{match-1}} for stuff like that, I don't think they have a choice. So if you put "dIcK", that's how it'll come out.

Well, I mean, I assume you've programmed a little. It wasn't an oversight or intentional - you would do a case insensitive match and then print out the original string.

Your uncle is with the Lord now

There is a single rule that uses regex to catch several different words and their variations. It just reprints the matched string.

It's based on this rule with a few modifications. https://www.reddit.com/r/AutoModerator/wiki/library#wiki_profanity_filter

My buddy drunkenly puked, shit and piss in the shower in highschool.

We turned the (warm) water on his fully clothed sleeping self and continued to party.

This is like the quintessential OPFB post. At first I was reading the top couple of comments and it seemed fairly normal, not really that grandma-ey, then when I got down to Nana's post, the grandmaster flashness broke through like a train through a wall.

That typing is a fucking parody of itself.

I remember I used to type like that as a freshman and sophomore on high school because it was the cool thing at the time. We sounded like we had crippling autism when we typed anything on Facebook.
