Why does that make them assholes? Men need and pursue sex much more than women, yes, but that doesn't make them bad for choosing sex only over regular dating. Right now, men are expected to compete with other suitors, to be the one who puts themselves up for potential to be rejected, to plan and pay for the dates, to move at a rate the woman feel's comfortable with, and then to feel lucky if a woman decides to have sex with them. And this can be with women who are more than happy to have sex quickly with a man who they don't see fit for an LTR.

I might be speaking for myself, but most of my relationships come from early sex and then getting to know one another. In fact, I'm sure there's a woman right now who thinks I'm an asshole because I stopped talking to her because she wanted to wait to have sex until we were dating. In reality, I love who she is as a person, but I can't stand that I'm supposed to jump through hoops and impress her because we're looking at a LTR, when I can meet another girl and instantly be much more comfortable and intimate with her before deciding whether we are fit for a relationship.

The process to dating a lot of women is very shitty. I can't blame anyone for just wanting sex instead.
