i think the ironic part in this whole thing is that most people (of your fans) dont want to be seen as evil by you and you always seem to take it the hard way too when the people (i deliberately do not write your community here) attack you. If everyone takes a step back they would realize that they want the same thing. as for the whole liana k thing and the girl thing since i am almost never on reddit i missed it. and no there is no good solution since there are to many people involved to communicate effectively. thats life.

You have no control over the collective, only a voice within it. Up down voting is a highly limited system, better tooling is needed, graphs. Nodes and there connections, i like this person, i dislike this person, that effects there nodes relation to mine.

Personally I found the voice a little annoying, but I never felt the need to complain about it publicly. You can just be an adult and shrug, ignore it and carry on listening. Things can be annoying or even hurtful, but it's part of life to deal with it. However, that goes for that family as well (not so much the kid, though, as it's... a kid). Wherever you go, as long as individualism exists people will be annoyed about things, and not everyone can control themselves. As long as there's no physical violence in the picture, it's just a part of life to accept that it will happen. I know it's a bit harsh but... people just need to grow a thicker skin. The world isn't a hugbox.

Keep your head up, TB! Theres a lot of silent people like me who follow you on twitter, watch a lot of your content and appreciate your work who never make a comment, and never post. We don't need to, because your work is great and we feel no need to comment. The offensive people who have made these comments are the loud minority. The loudest people in this case are the most offensive, not by coincidence. I'm sorry this has caused you such an issue, and I wish you not need deal with anything like this again. Complaining about someone's natural voice is not constructive criticism, and while nobody likes to be generalized, the proper response to comments that a subreddit was becoming toxic is not becoming more toxic. Did TB and Genna handle this situation the most eloquent way possible? Certainly not, but I think they handled it better than the subreddit did. You have to at least understand their disappointment and frustration. It probably doesn't help much TB, but I hope you know you have supporters out here in the abyss we call the internet. You may not be perfect, but you're a better man than I.

@6qjxc8fvesrj: I found it mildly annoying too but that is no reason to go talking shit about a kid. It's nonsensical to say for someone to change their voice. As many people have said here, you could very well mention that the laugh is way to loud on the audio and that it needs to be worked on! The world might not be a nice place but that shouldn't be a reason for you to be part of what's terrible about it.

@thcollegestudent: Oh no I did a shit job explaining in the first place. I will have to refrain from using myself as an example in any capacity in the future as it causes people to just call me names or what have you instead of really understand what I am saying. But, then I fear the hypothetical person is a tool too detached for people to relate and understand. My basic point was to try to explain how a sudden knee-jerk reaction could easily put someone in the counter group and how I had such a reaction myself even though I was so obviously un-involved. While I easily understood I was seeing the situation as a silly "I don't see what's wrong so given how forceful he is about it I must be in said group" situation and passed it by, the fact I did see it that way briefly was instructive to me as to how others could do the same.

I was using myself to illustrate human nature and how given even I felt that way, all be it for a short time, it makes sense that others would who were far closer to it. This is very clearly explained in the comment chain and I'm not sure how you missed it.
