You've posted this garbage film before, under another username. This tactic is new, though. You're pretending to be pro vaccination, in order to get up votes and promote this clearly anti vaccine propaganda piece. You're also using other sock puppet accounts to comment and argue in favor of vaccines while extolling a film that pushes the exact opposite message.

What an enormous piece of shit you are. You also have way too much time on your hands. Get a job.

Another unscientific anti-vaxer "documentary" it seems.

Oh boy...there are few things that people need to understand before watching this mockumentary.

First, OP is a prolific paid poster from /r/conspiracy. It's obvious that he is paid by the producers of this mockumentary to shill for them. This is important to keep in mind when viewing the film. Ask yourself, would a scientifically literate individual take this mockumentary seriously? The answer is an overwhelming NO.

Second, the "scientific" evidence provided by the anti-vaccine side in the film is terribly researched. It consists of a mix of pseudo-science and emotionally manipulative anecdotal evidence. This is the hallmark of the anti-vaccine movement's "research." Most of the anti-vaccine presenters have absolutely no background in epidemiology, pathology, or infectious disease medicine. Hell, it's so laughable that they use Barbara Loe Fisher - the founder of the NVIC - to present information that is patently false. The NVIC is an organization that puts out patently false anti-vaccine propaganda. OP is paid by the NVIC to post as well.

Third, the anti-vaccine movement has absolutely no credible evidence to back itself up. Paid posters, such as the OP, use this jokey website that purports to have 100+ peer-reviewed papers that show harm from vaccines. The vast majority of these papers have never been published in a well-respected journal (i.e., NEJM, JAMA, Immunology, etc...); they have extremely poor methodology; they cherry pick their data; they are paid for by anti-vaccine organizations; and some of them aren't even papers but rather abstracts to presentations.

Fourth, this mockmentary is made to prey on the emotions of the scientifically illiterate. People may be offended by this statement, but it's a fact. Modern society doesn't value STEM education at all. As a result, we have people like the OP and his shill friends at /r/conspriacy, who think they understand the scientific method. They wouldn't know a well written research study if it was explained to them step-by-step.

By all means, watch this film. If you have even a high-school level of scientific education, you'll see it for what it is - a mockumentary made to prey on the emotions of the gullible.

I honestly dont get how anti-vaxxers are a thing. like seriously? How fucking dumb do you have to be to voluntarily put yourself at risk for shit? like does getting something to prevent diseases that are known to be terrible and fatal really seem like a bad idea?

It seems like a bad idea when you're mentally ill and plagued by paranoia, because then you don't think vaccines actually do that because some picture with big red letters told you so and the government is out to get you.

Oh yea. I forgot how easy it is to scare the shit out of people to keep them from being idiots

I recommend people read the "criticism" section of this film's Wikipedia article. It's not quite as unbiased as the OP is portraying it.

Also as far as I can tell it has won a grand total of two third-tier awards at a couple of film festivals. It's not swimming in accolades.

The problem with the Internet is that it has given idiots a voice. The village crank can now produce a "documentary" instead of just shouting at clouds from his lawn.

[–]theskepticalheretic 3ポイント4ポイント  (0子コメント)

Every village has an idiot. The internet just makes these idiots think they're a movement.

Vaccines are a wonderful thing, thank you for posting this. I will watch it later on tonight, I'm getting my little one vaccinated tomorrow. I always enjoy science documentaries like these

[–]bigbowlowrong 4ポイント5ポイント  (0子コメント)

Watch the documentary by all means. Just know that it has an agenda that isn't made entirely clear by the people promoting it.

Edit: Also note OP is an anti-vaccination conspiracist.

Really, OP? /u/herozeronero is a four old account that has a total of four posts. Two of which are one-liners. It's interesting that this is also the only post in support of you and already has 7 up votes...are you calling in the brigade from /r/conspiracy? Try not to be so transparent, OP, it's very easy to tell that /u/herozeronero is a sock-puppet account for /u/liverpoolwin. How pathetic are you, OP?
