That may be what you're saying, but it's not what this statement is saying.

By saying "girls who like girls", the statement is very clearly implying that the issue lies with men. And yes, while the reported sexual assault cases are overwhelmingly committed by male perpetrators it's not fair to lump all men into that category.

As a woman who has been sexually assaulted and the mother of a teenage son, this kind of thinking scares me. I don't want my kind and gentle son to be seen by society as someone to be afraid of. Women can and do commit sexual assault. So do men, trans, and gender fluid people.

People who commit sexual assault, regardless of gender, are disgusting human beings. None of these groups should be singled out as inherently dangerous based on the actions of some.
