If you live in LA and spend any amount of time in Hollywood during the day, you will see your fair share of stars constantly.

It amazes me when I can see a 50+ year old male star walk down the street and say "wow, he's really attractive still" but I'll see a famous actress of 27 and say "whoa, she looks haggard and beat."

I have no idea how California women over 23 even date at all. Every time I step off a plane in LAX there are more starlets arriving by the planeload.

Yup. Many people in the country really think actresses are hot well into their 30s but that is all smoke and mirrors. You can find countless pictures of actresses in their 30s with their makeup off. They look like they got beat with an ugly stick.

[–]Endorsed Contributorabdada 16

Even in their 20s. Early 20s. I saw some famous ex-Disney singer chick (I don't listen to the radio so don't recall her name) having lunch with pals and my date said "oh that's blah blah blah" and I figured her for 30. Guess she was 22, lol.

Pro-tip: This applies to most women...

And that's why bars keep the lights low. Haha

Boots during summer.

I don't get it. Why is that a thing?

I'm from OC and that's the one thing I never really grasped about LA culture which is the fucking sontant need to wear uggs, or whatever else over their yoga leggings.

[–]Endorsed ContributorKill_Your_Ego 11ポイント12ポイント  (2子コメント)

It's because girls think that this makes their legs look smaller. Tight pants plus boots and they think it's slimming on their legs. I've asked and that's what they've told me.

Makes sense, fat girls do it a lot where I am from

You're making me want to spend some time in LA. I live in Chicago, and have been contemplating a move for a while...

LA is great for a visit, I'd never want to live there. I was there maybe a month last year spread out over 8 months. Just start tindering as soon as the plane touches down, have fun and go back home.

Seriously I have never heard a single person say LA is great for living and yet they glamorize it so much on TV likes it the best fucking place to live.

I live in Orange County and even it isn't as great as they portray on TV. Most of Orange County is run down and being taken over by illegals. LA is even worse. With the influence of feminism, thug rap, drugs, and drinking...most of LA is a shit hole. Top that with some of the worse traffic in the world and you have a cess pool of women who think 35 is the new 20. And did I mention that a decent 2 bedroom apartment at around 1000 sq ft is around 3000 dollars a month? OH and the amazing taxes that go to fund stupid hippy environment programs that fail and welfare for illegals. Yay California!

Here is an example:

Hippies were trying to ban camp fires on the beach because it was a cause of smog in the city. Really!?!

I live in Bombay which is considered the LA of Asia and what you said sounds remarkably like here. Illegals, booze, drugs, shit music and feminism. And of course loads of smoking hot women and disgruntled old (40+) women. And taxes and ridiculous rents. And let's clean the beach hipster movements. It's pretty much a shithole.

[–]Endorsed Contributorabdada 5

I have a home in Mumbai (Napean Sea Road off Kemp's Corner) and the young women are either laborers and stuck up or medical students and suck up.

I can't imagine having to listen to that nagging before and after sex.

Well at least you live in a pretty fucking awesome area. I moved here and had to buy a house in the suburbs. The only good thing is the new buildings, the space and strangely, the greenery around me. The stuck up behavior is all over- I see it all over the place. But man I have a zero tolerance policy. I'd rather not have sex for a year than have it on someone else's terms (the nagging, the guilt, the compulsion to get into a relationship etc). It has served me well so far.

Awesome. Give me a shout when u visit Mumbai. Let's catch up over beer.

Hehe yeah. I'm looking buy some property in LA. The rent is just nuts.

No thanks. Property taxes are rediculous and if you want anything nice, you are going to spend over 750. Pass. Rather move to a different state where they pay the same but the housing cost is 1/3 of what it is here. I have a few friends that have moved to Houstin and bought 4 and 5 bedroom houses for cheap. Plus, they are doing the same thing they were in California and getting paid more. One of my friends moved to Corpus Cristi, TX and bought a beach house with a friend.

Corpus sucks ass as well, just in a different sense. Houston is alright, but I'm not a fan of the oil business vibe there, it jus seems so soulless. Austin was amazing, cheap rent and an amazing culture, but with feminism and a shit ton of Californians moving here everyday, it has essentially become the L.A. of the south, including some of the country's worst traffic.

Many people are comparing what happened in San Francisco with the tech boom and native Francisians being pushed out due to ever increasing rent prices to what is happening in Austin.

I guess you're not aware TX is one of the highest property taxes in the nation.

Don't forget - Texas has no State income tax. Texas has sane gun laws. Texas has no alimony.

Texas has sane gun laws? You're fucking crazy

I was looking into Texas myself. Thanks for the input. I wanted to build up to owning condos in Hawaii and San Francisco.

Its definitely not for everyone.

I've lived in Los Angeles my entire life and I've traveled all over the US.

Some of the things I love about here is the stable temperature, the diversity in unique things to do(numerous hikes, beaches, mountains, etc), the culinary variety, tasty produce, and I also work in the entertainment industry, so there's that.

LA has some of the fakest people and the most real.

You know what city has all the benefits of LA, but few of the drawbacks? Fucking Nashville, TN. Give it a spin. You won't be disappointed.

[–]Endorsed Contributorabdada 8

Easily some of the hottest up and comers in the music scene. Blonde girls with guitars and cowboy boots and 22" waistlines. Everywhere.

Yep. And they are much less brainwashed than the girls you find on the coasts.

Sure, AWALT, but girls in cities like Nashville, Charlotte, and Savannah are just much better packages than what you typically get in NY or LA. They're just as good looking, much less high maintenance, and there's a fair chance you'll find one with a reasonably Red Pill outlook.

What you have to watch out for in the South is the really rural areas where there be trailerpark dragons. Those chicks are typically dumb as hell, batshit crazy, more volatile than any hood rat, and straight up looking to get knocked up so they can collect a check. They can be great for a sport fuck, but don't ever let them know where you live.

Charlotte is great, as is Charleston.

[–]Diarrhea_Van_Frank 1ポイント2ポイント  (4子コメント)

As far as NC is concerned, I prefer Raleigh.

Any good places in particular? I'm right down the road but have really only been around the NCSU area.

[–]Diarrhea_Van_Frank 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

Depends on what you're after. Deep South is the best bar in town. Tell the door guy you're friends with me and he'll be your best friend for the night. Slim's is a close second, but it's a shithole. The Cheerwine shot is the best damn drink I've ever had, though. Both bars have tons of awesome shows. I never did the club scene, so I can't speak for that.

Clyde Cooper's is the best bbq in the state, and Oak City Meatballs is killer spot too.

Lincoln Theater is where all the music happens for the bands that aren't big enough for Red Hat yet.

As for shit to do, hit up city hall and ask them what's going on in town. You would be shocked at the interesting shit you can find to kill a weekend. Hopscotch is coming up next weekend and that's worth checking out if only to see American Aquarium play a hometown show.

Lived here my whole life. Absolute shit city and everyone I know wishes to leave.

Women in NYC are the absolute worst. They're about as entitled and egotistical as it gets-- I'm sure the LA ones are the same. Granted, they look hot, but given the maintenance, I'd rather stick my dick in a fleshlight-- much cheaper.

Can vouch for Nashville but Savannah, GA....did have much luck when I lived there for a year. All the women were "Yeee Haw Nascar" there and wanting the redneck with the big lifted truck and small dick. I'm more of the motorcycle type of guy.

The big truck, small dick stereotype makes me laugh. I bought my dream truck just this year and guess what? It's big, it's loud, it's cumbersome, and it blows more smoke than a french hooker.

I didn't buy it just to look cool, i bought it cuz in my particular area its needed for recreation and it fits my job well.

Oh, and my cock is a perfectly good size thanks.

Originally from around Bowling Green area, Kentucky. Nashville is the shit. Was just there a couple months ago visiting and pulled 2 chicks in 2 days. One was a hott light skinned black chick and the other was a blonde hottie. Will most likely move to Nashville in a year after I get my final stock vestment from the company I work for now.

With a fake name and number ofc.

[–]Endorsed Contributorabdada 5

I live in Chicago and I hate LA for more than 2-3 days maximum. I just can't deal with the social climate. Everyone is way too thrill-seeking and ignorant of actually living. It's all about living in the moment. Bores me.

At least the women are hotter in LA. And they'll do anything for the spotlight. Plus living in the moment means they'll be more slutty

[–]Endorsed Contributorabdada 4

Sluts are too full of drama to catch my interest though. I date differently than most TRPers.

Just go with a fake name and phone number and i.d. (along with your real ofc). Only use a fake name and such when looking for some action. Under that fakeness it helps protect you from the crazies. The crazy ones can't track you down.

Are girls that crazy in LA? I mean I know some that actually believe crystals have real powers

Better to be safe than sorry imo

Yep. I spent a week there one night.

[–]Endorsed Contributorabdada 0

That's how I feel after being there 12 hours.

Men age like fine wine. Women age like sour grapes.

Yeah, I went to school out in SoCal and my female friends would laugh at women at 25/26 saying they've already hit the wall and it's obvious. It's funny to me how people claim in FRs and stuff that they banged this "HB10 35 year old." Even 28 is old really.

Smarter women are married by 25. Any woman that is still out there at 25+ is a lost cause already, and is nothing more than a plate at best.

Also the funny thing, relayed to this article too, is that women are always quick to point to their vaginas and "giving birth" as justification to why they should be afforded such a privileged place in society.

What they fail to understand or hamster away is that A) if you're 25 and have no kids you haven't actually been using that reproductive ability and B) women's fertility is dropping from 22 on but by 30 it's collapsing and by 35 it's pretty much over, it requires a lot of expensive medical technology to get a woman pregnant over 35 for a first birth.

So especially by 35+, a woman has no worth left to get that special treatment. And that's how society does work. They can screech and scream all they want, but people won't care. And especially other, younger women are not interested in giving up their own privilege to extend the privilege ride of these older women that already pissed away their time.

Sometimes I see on here and MGTOW men worrying about a bachelor tax or being forced to marry these used up sluts. That just is not going to happen. What they'll do is reduce the age of marriage/consent down to something like 14 for girls, and then get these older men to marry younger women. Society doesn't care about men, very true, but it cares even less about older women. Feminists and older women don't get that, but they can't get around that.

I doubt anything at all will happen. The government doesn't care about single people with no kids. I doubt many single women over 30 even vote in elections. The birth rate has dropped, but plenty of people are still having kids. It won't be until germany and japan levels that federal and state governments will take notice.

Yeah plenty of dumb people are having kids.

I would say all types are. The rich do as well as the middle class.

I think he was refering to illegals.

What does Meryl Streep have to whine about? She has 19 nominations for the Oscars and has 3 wins. She is a great actress because she doesn't rely on sexuality to get roles. Same with Sigourney Weaver, imagine what Alien and Aliens would have been like had the director used her for sex appeal rather than conveying a story. As soon as you start sexing up the women in a movie, they start losing all credibility as a medium through which a great story can be told.

Why do we give a damn what actors say? They spend their lives pretending to be other people. No, not other people, other characters, written by people trying to make a buck off the average punter, who in turn is not interested nor often even capable of recognizing reality. An intelligent actor knows this, exploits the system for as long as they can then bows out gracefully taking ever less popular, but usually more mature and thoughtful roles. An intelligent actor knows that none of this qualifies them to make any observations on "normal" life, because that life is far, far from normal. To complain is human, fine, but I am no more interested in an actor's complaint than I am in that of any man in the street.

That said, Anne Hathaway is a fucking babe. 'Love that smile.

That said, Anne Hathaway is a fucking babe.

She was a babe. She is definitely suffering from white women aging syndrome, where they hit the wall BADLY, and in a relatively short span of time. She looks OK now.

Actors are not cool people! Remember the guys in the theater club back in high school? Now consider only the one or two guys out of them who were most obsessed about acting. This is how actors are. Just, they actually made it.

Why do we give a damn what actors say?

They're the new aristocracy.

She wasn't that hot to begin with. Cute, but not gorgeous, so her margin for error wasn't like Rachel McAdams or Kate Beckinsale who pulled off roles as characters who were 10 years younger than they actually are. I think McAdams was like 26 when she did mean girls. Damn she was fine af (still is for a chick that's going to be 37), but that is about as rare as it gets.

But, she's had a life better than 99.999999999999% of all human beings that have ever lived. She's a mildly attractive female who got lucky and made it in hollywood, no one is going to feel fucking sorry for her.

Oh no, younger, hotter girls get the roles I used to get when I was younger and hotter, now I have to be paid $10 million to play a supporting role as the girlfiend to an average looking guy instead of the hot 21 year old the lead pines over. Boo hoo feel sorry for me.

The fuck outta here!

Unfortunately, the more isolated you are from the real world, the easier it is to become delusional. I see just as many dudes indulging in this narcissism as girls, and its a byproduct of how comfortable the world we live in has become. The average American's standard of living is so insanely amazing its ridiculous. Its just logical to expect that, the more amazing the standard of living, the more delusional the person's expectations for reality. If that person is an attractive girl, aka a human who has been sheltered from the real world her entire life by her parents, friends, beta/provider boyfriends, she'll be super delusional. If she's a hot female movie star, expect levels of delusion to enter the stratosphere.

Women will never stop complaining, the past privilege they experienced is now gone, like any benefit anyone provides them once they've lived it it doesn't exist anymore, so they get to work on leveraging any possible future privilege.

The most ridiculous thing is 30 year old women wanting to be cast as 20 year olds. They're not only lying to themselves, but everyone else too.

Rachel McAdams has aged pretty well. She has always looked pretty good, but her age hasn't slowed her down much.

Wait, what? Hathaway is doing the exact opposite of rationalizing (or hamstering) here. She is perfectly aware that she has no cause to complain, she is just saying that it's fucked up that a role written for a 50 year old goes to a 24 year old because it is. That is just stupid. It's always annoyed me that in Hollywood, every post-pubescent character looks 25 even if they're supposed to be 15 or 50.

That being said, Crowe makes a great point - accept that your time has passed. Don't try to play an ingenue when you're 45, or even 35. It's ridiculous and you're just embarrassing yourself.

Its one big advantage men have over women - we can still look good into middle age.

and beyond. Look at Sean Connery and Patrick Stewart.

Patrick Stewart is reaching the male wall these days. He's starting to look a little doddery. Although to be fair, even in X-Men, at 60 old years he was still "fine".

The 'male wall' is around 70. Its very hard for men to look extremely masculine after that. But considering the average male life expectancy is in the high 70s thats not a bad run.

Paul Erdos is the best example IMO

It's why I've said for years that I can't wait to be in my late 30's and early 40s. My already solid career will continue to grow, I'll have money (since I have no plans to have kids), and I'll just keep looking better.

The key to maximizing your enjoyment of those years is to fully enjoy where you are presently. I can't wait until I'm "X age" or with "X amount of money in the bank" or "chiseled with a 14 pack" or in "X profession" are all the same sort of trap. Yes, set goals, yes keeping going, but learn how to fully absorb and enjoy wherever you may be in your stage of living, so that when you do reach that point in your life (late 30s, early 40s) you'll not only possess the wherewithal to make the best of it, you'll also know how to handle the time that will inevitably follow, all the way up to your point of termination (i.e. death)

The best time of your life can be right at this moment if you want it to be so. Learn how to make that a day-to-day reality and everything else will take care of itself.

Couldn't agree more-- learned this lesson early on when I used to dream of being this ripped kid when I was in my senior year of high school. Slowly learned that unless you actively make changes and breathe in the moment, you won't ever become the person you want to. Live in the moment, but plan for the future.

I'm 54, still have no problem pulling 22 year olds. Stay in shape, kids.

I don't really understand the message of this post. It literally is

"women bangs alpha dicks. Women hits wall. Can't find alpha to marry her anymore". Except for replace certain words with "movie roles". Straight outta the sidebar.

You seemed to have understood the message rather well. Even celebrities are not immune from the truths of The Red Pill; even if - and especially when - they can't hamster their out of it.

right but I could make a post saying the sky is blue, you could reply "I don't really understand the message of this post. It literally is about how the sky is blue". I could reply you understood the message rather well but what you were trying to say is that it doesn't really serve a purpose. Anyone who spends 10 minutes on this sub will figure this part out.

You're missing the point-- OP is just showing that not even celebrities are immune to the Wall and what it does to women.

fair enough I just thought it goes without say.

Take a tip from me about a hard lesson I learned. Whenever you're trying to teach OR learn something, abandon all pretense. Always take things from the bottom up, slowly, and be methodical with it.

Something like this is didactic in that it's showing people that RP truths apply to every echelon of society-- especially the celebrities that people have known and/or coveted through their youth.

Also Maggie Gyllenhaal is the least attractive woman on this list by at least three magnitudes. She can't say shit.

[–]boston_of_gilead 1ポイント2ポイント  (0子コメント)

I'd jump over Maggie in her prime any day of the week to get in Helen Mirren's pants. Seriously. A 70 year old is more attractive than a 37 year old in this case. Lol.

I actually agree with her that its unfair that she can't get roles anymore. The thing is life is unfair.

Men get sexualized by women, women get sexualized by men. Men don't find older women as attractive. There are exceptions (Selma Hayek still is amazing looking, same with Monica Bellucci the new bond girl). Women don't find younger men attractive. Its why men in their 20s are much more likely to be single than women (source: http://jonathansoma.com/singles/).

Look at men in movies. 20 somethings are forced to play Jonah Hill "butt of every joke" type roles or "high schooler". Sure the occasional younger man makes it through (say a Channing Tatum or the Twilight people) and is sexualized by younger and older women, but they are few and far between. We see men more like Clooney, Pitt, Crowe, etc. More recently its Ben Affleck and Matthew Mcconaughey who went from smaller/rom coms that make 40 mill type roles to the oscar winning stuff. Men have to wait their turn. That is just as unfair. In hollywood, sex sells. Hell, everywhere it does. You gotta play the game.

It's not the money or roles. It's the validation from being desired my high status men. Your displaying male solipism

I know that movies and celebrity in general are understandably frowned upon here but they really helped me conceptualize what the wall actually is. I'm a visual learner so seeing women like Anne, Cameron Diaz and others hit it hard really helped me to understand what it truly means. You can read about it all day but seeing is believing. Look up Cameron in the mask and then look at her today. That's the wall personified. And if you really want to see what the wall does look at her dating history. Went from dating arod, Matt Dillon and Jared Leto (and half of Hollywood) to marrying the guitarist from good Charlotte. That's the consequences of the cc and the wall

What blows my mind is Russell was accused of being sexist after making that truly rational, well-thought out statement.

Anne Hathaway is also a self-aborbed miserable cunt, so no shit shes pretty clueless whats going on around her.

[–]boston_of_gilead 2ポイント3ポイント  (0子コメント)

Wah wah wah.

Hollywood is a business. Businesses exist to make money. Don't blame the studios because movies about a 37 year old woman and a 55 year old man won't sell tickets. Those studios make profitable decisions (like paying Tom Cruise more than any woman in Hollywood because he sells tickets), they stay in business, and they give these grown-up drama club kids multi-million dollar cash flows.

Boo-the-fuck-hoo.

Since she noticed that her career was just possible because she was a young attractive woman and she is not okay with this anymore, she should just give her $35 mio net worth to charity.

Oh, she won't do this? Then shut the fuck up!

How the fuck is this "ageism". If they want a 24 year old girl for a part in the movie should they be forced to take a used up 48 year old nobody wants to see and make the whole movie fail, losing them millions of dollars? Do these people not have any common sense?

Bring on the Pouty Face. Somebody should do something.

Some female celebrities hit a wall. Some like princess Diana hit actual walls. It's inevitable.

She had bad dandruff too. They found her head and shoulders on the dashboard.

Why did Princess Di cross the road? She didn't wear her seatbelt.

Nothing is ever good enough for you females, is it?

She was great in batman so she must still be getting some good roles.

Well, in their defense, nothing in a young girls upbringing comes anywhere close to preparing them for what it's like to be a man pretty much all the time. I can imagine it's a hell of a shock to the system to find out what it's like to just be a person.

Funny thing--she wasn't even that attractive in high school. And had a weird beta brother.

Source: Went to high school with weird beta brother and saw her a few times just before she hit it huge.

Zoe Saldana bitch cries a lot.She has starred in a lot of big movies in the last few years. 'Guardians of the Galaxy' being the biggest one.

That is Hollywood. It's a business.

This goes hand in hand with what most betas don't realize-- a woman's beauty is one of her greatest assets. It is the reason why the wall is utterly devastating for a woman who was attractive in her youth. She loses job opportunities, she loses "respect," she loses the gaze of men that fed her ego, etc.

Not surprised someone like Anne Hathaway is experiencing this.

"I can't complain about it...but I'm going to proceed to complain about it."

I don't believe she was complaining in the same sense that Streep or Chastain were complaining. Anne looks like she has her head on straight in this case, and we really need to stop demonizing women for everything they do.

Your analysis is, while I realize you wanted to say that it bothered her, it's not exactly on point. She isn't going around whining about not having the opportunity to have her cake and eat it too.

Stop hating on everything women do. Yeah they are more inclined towards Hypergamy. But that doesn't mean you need to look for things to hate.

When raising a dog, you look to cut down it's poor and reward it's good behavior, so that it is encouraged to be good. You do not vilify it for basically existing.

Part of me thinks this place hates women for existing, and Im also guilty of that. But we really need to become people who can put people in their place just by seeing negative behavior. We shouldn't be consumed with hate.

That was the first step, let's move beyond that.

Why would she discuss it in an interview, then? To me, it sounded like she was couching her opinion to seem more reasonable (which she certainly could be - a reasonable person).

I definitely don't.

I'm just saying, she noticed something new in her life, and it bothered her. It's not like she can't talk about her experience. She's an actress, that's what they do.

Anne Hathaway is fucking gorgeous, I would plow her even when she's in her 40s
