Decriminalision of Cannabis.

This is a reddit wet dream.

Can't watch it atm. What was the gist of that?

None came out and said they would decriminalise.

Corbyn backed decriminalisation for medicinal use.

Burnham said medicinal use should be looked at and that wider drugs policy also needs to be looked at.

Kendall and Cooper backed the status quo.

Thanks. At least there's some hope with Corbyn.

My impression of Burnham is that he's just playing it safe and would never rock the boat by attempting to relax drug laws even the slightest.

He seemed less enthusiastic than Burnham on the question who brought up future full decriminalisation without prompt whereas Corbyn was forced into an answer from Adam Bolton.

Huh. Maybe there's hope yet then.

I'd love for labour to become more socially liberal. Both labour and the tories have been rather authoritarian the last decade.

[–]Anyales"Democracy" [

Corbyn said we need review of drug policy when asked directly about recreational use.

Burnham said it should be given out for chronic issues such as MS, iirc. After consultation yadda yadda

[–]Parmizan [

That's Burnham down to a tee, really. If you're lucky, you get a "we'll think about it", reply from him to appear open, but he's not going to do anything overly controversial or out of the ordinary.

Liz Kendell: "Basically what people want is money and stuff. We need to be the party of money and stuff".

Has Yvette Cooper hired Ed Miliband's public speaking coach? I swear to god its like watching him in drag.

Near the end and she's decided to start yelling a lot and waving her arms around.

[–]Aspley_HeathKipper4Corbyn [スコア非表示]  (0子コメント)

Kendall following Yvette's track with the Burnham + Woman issue..shame I thought she was above that...

[–]Aspley_HeathKipper4Corbyn [スコア非表示]  (0子コメント)

I feel like this savage attack on Corbyn's policies by Yvette is much like a last stand against the dying onslaught of CorbynMania...but the memes are just too strong for her

Liz Kendall "Sound Public Finance"

and the audience groaned

lol labour

[–]Oxshevik [

Because "sound public finance" has become a Tory euphemism for austerity, which isn't sound at all.

And 'one nation' is a tory thing too.

Didn't stop Miliband from using it. You shouldn't be afraid of using language that works.

[–]Aspley_HeathKipper4Corbyn [スコア非表示]  (6子コメント)

Corbyn AF here, "I don't buy The Sun"...he just demolished the host Bolton here....he'll still get Smashed by DC at PMQs though.

Why will he get beaten by Cameron at PMQs? Cameron can't answer a question or engage in serious debate. Corbyn seems pretty dogged and determined, far less of a pushover and points scorer than Miliband. I can see his style working well against Cameron

[–]Aspley_HeathKipper4Corbyn [スコア非表示]  (1子コメント)

Cameron will use the IRA/Islamist material all the time and just crush Corbyn with his "friend" remark.

The general public will love that.

Unless Corbyn refutes with the facts, stating that this was simply a courtesy and that any story made out of this is sensationalism. He could also just ignore it and stick to whichever point he is pressing during PMQs. Those two possibilities don't lead to Cameron "crushing" Corbyn

Murdoch's media would probably ruin Corbyn which is a shame.

[–]Parmizan [

They'll probably ruin any Labour leader, to be fair.

After what happened to Miliband I doubt anybody can get into power without appeasing News International.

[–]JeansybabyCan I Haz PR [

Aww bless no one clapped for Liz.

Loved Corbyns "I have a strong conscience" line after they criticized him for voting against the party. Otherwise typical Labour candidates.. Cooper and Kendall seem really out of touch and Burnham not so bad but not impressive.

Shocked that the poll has Kendall ahead of Cooper and Burnham. She's been terrible all night.

84% of viewers say Corbyn won debate, 3% for Cooper.

Corbyn: "Liz will you work with me?"

Liz: Squirms Nervously

[–]StonedPhysicistdemocratic socialism on proportionally-represented stilts [

Playing Andy Burnham Bingo: drink every time he says "leadership" or "unity".

[–]JeansybabyCan I Haz PR [

Hope you have 999 on speed dial.

[–]Parmizan [

He doesn't, but not to worry; Andy Burnham thinks we should look into it, and maybe do something about it.

Now the experts are on saying they thought Yvette Cooper won.. I must of been watching a different debate.

Notice how they don't say anything of substance, just vague opinion. Unless they're counting progress at which point Cooper may have progressed the most in the debate, but she's still the worst.

Does anybody know where I can watch this now that it's finished (just missed it)

[–]rappersdoGet back in the sea, you finned cunt

We get it Liz, you're from Watford.

[–]Ewannnn [

Jesus christ, they're acting like this is a competition. Let's play who can accept the most refugees?

[–]HedgehogkillaFully Cucked SJW[S] [

Poor Yvette. It's like the audience doesn't even want to listen.

Maybe she should yell a bit louder or maybe try waving arms about more?

Labour party is going to commit suicide voting for Corbyn. TBH none of them are leadership material. Say hello to another tory government in 2020.

Long way off yet mate, people may get really sick of the Tories

[–]Parmizan [

People seem fairly content with them right now, to be fair. I think some blunders of epic proportions are going to be the only way we see the Tories out of power come 2020.

Corbyns holding another election in two years. Its what won my vote.

It is far from clear that the UK is pursuing even remotely sustainable economic plans. Exiting from the EU could put us so far in the shitter that Corbyn could walk it. Who knows.

Corbyn's supporters truly are mindless drones at the debate*. Corbyn's idea of just printing money is bat shit crazy, they're eating it up.

Yvette took Corbyn apart in her question towards him, he didn't know what to say and resorted to saying she hadn't read the proposal properly.

Corbyn's idea of just printing money is bat shit crazy

It actually isn't, so long as its restrained to keep inflation down.

Liz is looking very nervous tonight, stuttering and stammering all over the place and putting on her "stern face"

[–]Pallas_Here was a Pallas_! When comes such another?

Corby looks like he needs a wee. Is he doing the Enoch Powell full-bladder trick?

[–]tempanought1 downCorbyn=1 year in the Gulag

Yvette Cooper going HAM on Corbyn over economics, this is great.

She went completely bat-shit crazy at the end

Three donkeys and a lion. Corbyn is the leader this country needs, but not the leader this country deserves.

Three woodlice and a dormouse more like.

Hes the best candidate but lord have mercy thats mostly because the competition is woeful.

I thought people were just using buzzwords when they complained about the "political class", but none of the candidates have ever had a job outside of politics. At least Corbyn has been in Parliament for a while, the other three candidates were all SpAds.

To me it is obvious Corbyn would be doing the sorts of things hes been doing even if he wasn't an MP.

He is the quintessential happy hobbyist who has managed to turn his passion into his job. The others don't strike me that way - I don't see kendall on the steps of the south african embassy calling them shitheads for apartheid. A speaking gig at imperial tobacco, maybe.

Corbyn is the only one I would see staying in politics for the rest of his life, primarily because he spent so much time in it already, the rest just seem to want to tick a box on their CV and move into the corporate world or become a president in the EU.

Burnham worked for the T&GW union before he was a special advisor.

Shameful response on drugs policy from all of them.

Jesus Christ, think members of the audience are ready to go down on Corbyn after the debates.....

Sycophantic lot this Labour movement
