Can we talk hair cuts?...again (self.burlington)

Im new to Burlington and I went to the Mens Room for my first haircut and had a terrible experience. And old hipster gave me a super mediocre hair cut without a razor shape up and an inconsistent fade, it cost $30 tip not included. I used to go to black barber shops in PA and pay $15-20 for an amazing cut and edge up. Is there anywhere in burlington that has talented barbers for reasonable price?

After getting $5 shape ups and $15 fades in NYC, the Vermont haircut scene is pretty weak. Honestly, a decent city barber with a steady hand and a box of razor blades would make a killing in Burlington. Too many middle aged/old white men giving military cuts to everyone that walks in the door.

its just like the beer scene. Some people put pride and care into their craft, and others simply do it for profit and ignore the details that it takes to be a good brewer/barber

You are looking for Christian at Bugatti. Bugatti is a men's only shop, staffed exclusively by real barbers (not cosmetologists). Christian is young, but he's the man.

Check out Indigo down by the lake! All the lesbians I know who have fancy butch haircuts go there. I myself get a half cut, and I was actually satisfied for the first time in a long time with the job they did. There's a price tier thing so like, some hair dressers are more costly than others. They'll give you the price options when you call to schedule.

Bugatti Barbers is next door (same owner, I believe). My son has been quite happy with them. It's not a cheap place, but they seem to get a lot of repeat business.

As a balding man, I just tend to shave it all off myself.

Nathan gives an amazing haircut. He also picks up on social cues well and doesn't over talk you if that's not something you're in the mood for.

For what it's worth, there is/was a black guy that cut hair at O'Briens in the U-mall. Don't remember his name but it's not like you'd mix him up with the other stylists :P

Go see Natalia at Clip (behind obriens on Main Street) she was the first person to bring me from awkward hair to mature, shaped hair. She's happy to do exactly what you want or give you suggestions and as an added plus she cuts Bernie Sanders hair...not that he has good hair or anything....ok maybe that shouldn't be a selling point.

Gary's barber shop in Essex. Always a good (barbershop) haircut. Buy some syrup while you're there, then head two doors down and have coffee and a donut at quality bake shop

Antoniccis is also top, top notch. Don't be surprised if you see a couple cops while you're there

Lacey Stowe at Shear Envy. Really talented, really fun to hangout with, and it's far less than I was paying at Joli and Bimini Bills when I tried both of those. Definitely recommend her.

Previously I went to Main St. Barber and they are very good, but Bugatti is great. They treat you well, and they straight shave the back of your neck with every cut.

Try Diversity on Pearl. My boyfriend also had good luck at Main Street Barbers, but also try Joli in the mall downtown.

I've moved, but I went to Gentleman's Top Option on the waterfront. It's not what I pay in Denver, but it's good quality and service for a reasonable local price.
