Before you ridicule me, everything I state I don't accept as 100% fact, I don't believe Obama is a reptilian, aliens built the pyramids, the moon is a death star or any of that. I'm talking about the most realistic reports and history we can observe.
So here's why I believe, for several reasons:
- A long documented history -
Contrary to popular belief, the UFO/Alien phenomena actually predates Roswell! There are countless accounts and depictions throughout history, sometimes eerily similar stories/writings/artwork in civilisations that never had contact. Now, although a lot of this can be attributed to that cultures religion, I think religion possibly stems from a combination of a misinterpretation of extraterrestrials and a personification of nature - I know the latter is true, which in turn could explain the countless similarities by itself.
- A statistical likelihood -
I think most people would agree that there is no chance we are alone in this universe. Where aliens become a debate is generally not about their existence, but about their ability and the possibility of them travelling to our planet.
- Government dedication to study and public ridicule -
During the 50's UFO's were becoming a huge topic. Obviously after the Roswell crash public attention was at an all time high - Also post WW2, countries were on edge, and thus monitoring their air space, which is where the UFO boom steps in. We're talking 1000's of reports per month, dedicated government teams to investigate witnesses and process these reports. I mean we don't have government officials that go out and investigate bigfoot sightings, or hunt ghosts, or interrogate people who claimed to see Jesus - Yet for some reason, UFO's are dumped within that same category of "make-believe" - Think about that. If they are all a lie/hoax, then why the huge effort?
This is where the government has done it's job. It has painted witnesses as crazy and is quick to dismiss anything UFO related. This leads me to my next point.
My SO's uncle was a high-ranking member of the Australian government, his work included spying and reconnaissance, and also, investigating UFO's and interrogating witnesses (Yes that is all I know, I wish I knew more) - So this for me is direct proof of government involvement. It does happen. Although, like I said, this could be to simply monitor other aircraft foreign countries have. Yet...I don't believe that is the case.
- Further on that last point, we have a mass of overly credible witness accounts -
Pilots, astronauts, government officals etc etc. UFO reports don't just come from rednecks.
Here's a list
So what, in your opinion, is the smoking gun?
