Andy Parker, a native of Austin, Texas, brings over 20 years of sales, marketing, and executive recruiting expertise to Divergent Search.

After graduating with honors from the University of Texas, Mr. Parker started his professional career as an actor appearing on Broadway in “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”, and “Pump Boys & Dinettes” at the Kennedy Center, to name a few. He joined the “real world” in 1985 and spent 15 years in sales and marketing in the apparel and sporting goods industry. Mr. Parker founded Telecareers in 2000, the predecessor to Divergent Search.

He and his family have made their home in the Martinsville/Henry County area since 1997. In 2003, Mr. Parker was elected to the Henry County Board of Supervisors serving a four year term. He was a founding member of TheatreWorks Community Players.
